This session will focus on the issue of imposter/false participants in qualitative research. This has increasingly become an issue of concern across the qualitative research-academic community, with a number of thought pieces being published and an increase in informal discussions seeking advice about how best to respond to this problem. Four speakers who have experienced this issue will shared their experience and the actions they took in response.

Morven Brown, SRA: Researcher and health psychologist; specialises in cancer survivorship.
