'Creative Methods: Analytic approaches and ethical considerations' which is jointly hosted by QualSIG and NIHR PRU in Behavioural and Social Sciences. The session will be delivered by Dr Louise Couceiro, a post-doc researcher at the University of Oxford.
This session is jointly hosted by QualSIG and NIHR PRU in Behavioural and Social Sciences. The session will be delivered by Dr Louise Couceiro. Louise will provide an overview of creative methods, with suggestions for how researchers might adopt creative approaches to data analysis.
The session will also include discussion of important ethical considerations when using creative methods, while addressing questions such as: How can you research creatively while retaining rigour and high ethical standards? How can you persuade ethics boards of the value of creative methods / that, in certain instances, creative methods are arguably more ethical than traditional methods?
Participants will have opportunity to reflect on their own work and consider how they might adopt creative approaches in current or future research.
