Amelia Ikwue

Amelia Ikwue is a PhD student funded by the Alzheimer's Society LBD-DTN, and working between the Metabolic Neurodegeneration Laboratory and the laboratory of Rimona Weil at UCL. Amelia is combining advanced neuroimaging with neuropathology to elucidate pathological mechanisms which drive cognitive impairment in LBD, with a particular focus on iron dysregulation in the thalamus.
