I am from London and graduated from Newcastle University in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (MEng Hons) in 2019. Working on groundbreaking and sustainable technology research through my PhD, sponsored by Dyson, is a unique opportunity. My research focus is in the design of novel electromagnetic systems to improve Dyson product performance. I will be looking at new motor and actuator designs for future Dyson products and proving their operation; utilising novel materials and integrating the design closely with the final product form. Key outputs will be demonstrator systems that deliver the power density, efficiency and smooth operation required to enable future class leading products.
