TwoCan Project

This exciting project is funded by Action Medical Research.

We are working with children and young people as well as with healthcare professionals to use technology to design an approach to encourage those with hemiplegia to track their arm and hand use. This could motivate them to increase use of the affected arm and hand.

We are running design workshops at this stage and then will move on to a test phase when we are ready.

This is a collaborative project between researchers at Newcastle University, Open Lab (within Computing Science at Newcastle) and the Evelina Childrens Hospital, London.

Excitingly, we have now collected nearly all of our data and are just busy analysing it.
