The aim of the international network on DNA for Diagnostics (DNASURF) is to achieve a step change in our understanding and ability to engineer the interface between nucleic acids in diagnostic devices. This is impossible without full engagement with industry.
DNASURF partners have experience of translating academic research into spinout companies, of licencing IP, and collaborating with industrial organisations. Industrial collaborators sponsor PhD students, acccess specialist equipment, and fund intersectoral secondments.
