Below is a list of hints that you may use at your own discretion to help you in the completion of this game.

These hints have been designed to help you if you are struggling through the prompts of the game, and should only be used if you need them - please attempt to work out the prompts before using hints!

The hints will not answer the prompts for you, but will make them significantly easier to complete.

Hint for prompt 4

The sequence works in two ways - descending and ascending order.

Every other letter is either one less or one more than that number.

The key will help you identify which set of letters follow which sequence.

Hint for prompt 7

All answers can be found using this website, the Cross River Gorilla Project's website and the ERuDeF website under the 'programmes - conservation - Lebialem Highlands Iniative' tab.

Hint for prompt 8

The stage 1 sequence is in descending order.

The stage 2 sequence acts similar to the sequence found in prompt 4, with two sequences occuring both in descending and ascending order.

The stage 3 sequence is completely random, and you will only get the answer by following the steps correctly through the prompt.

There are various websites you can use which can explain the running key cipher to you and even do the running key cipher for you.
