Claudia Sacher is a visual artist working in the areas of drawing, sculpture, video and installation. Born in Oberhausen/Germany, she completed a diploma in Graphic Design at the University of Essen/ former Folkwangschule in 1992. In 1992-1994 she joined the performance/intermedia class in Iowa City/Iowa, USA and moved back to Germany / Essen where she was part of Kunsthaus Essen for two years. In 1999 Claudia moved from Essen/Germany to the North East and now lives in Hexham where she also has her studio.
