Brigitte Jurack

Brigitte Jurack – lecturer in Fine Art at the University of Newcastle, lives and works in the UK since 1989. Studied at Duesseldorf Akademie (Meisterschueler Prof. I. Kamp), Glasgow School of Art and Chelsea College of Art and Design.

Works as a member of artist group Foreign Investment on collaborative socially engaged projects and commissions that include: Sunday Matinee for FACT, Tuning-In for the Bluecoat Gallery Liverpool and Superman, John Hansard Gallery, Southampton.

Recent exhibitions by Brigitte Jurack exhibitions: souvenir sculpture collection at KUNSTHALLE , Duesseldorf. Currently on AHRC research leave: publication of the artist book on travel and work planned for May 2007.
