Pop-Up Primer Part 2

Following on from the success of the first phase of the Pop-up Primer Programme in May '22, Captured Programme Lead Fiona Whitehurst, Programme Coordinator Jo Singh, along with 4 local creative business owners; Corinne Lewis-Ward, Ann English, Viv Wiggins and Sue Todd are delivering the programme again.

Hosted at Sook, a pop-up retail space in Metrocentre, Gateshead, the Pop-up Primer Programme includes a series of interactive workshops to prepare business owners with visual marketing, product photography, and social media skills needed to successfully run a retail pop-up. Following the workshops, there business owners are given the opportunity to put their new skills into practive with a live retail event.  See a short video of the first phase Pop-up Primer Programe workshops here

 

The businesses that took part in the first phase of the programme will be trading at the Sook space on Friday the 11th and Saturday the 12th November from 11-7pm, so please pop along and see them putting their new skills into action and buy a special gift or two!  

 

Pop-up Primer Party  Thursday 10th November 5-7pm

Join us in celebrating the fantastic businesses that have been taking part in this phase of our Pop-up Primer Programme. ����

There will be the opportunity to purchase handcrafted, unique gifts and artworks from local businesses whilst enjoying live music, refreshments and good company.

The Pop-up Primer Programme is part of a wider research project exploring the potential of small businesses across the North East to use pop-ups as part of their retail strategy and to see what part pop-up retail can play in the revival of our high streets and shopping centres.

Pop along to the 'Pop-up Primer Programme Party' on Thursday 10th November from 5-7pm to see the research in action and contribute your views.
