Dr Tim Leibert is a population geographer whose research is centrally concerned with demographic change and patterns of internal and international migration, especially in rural areas. Recent work has conributed to debates on age- and sex-selective migration, population development at the local level in Germany and theoretical perspectives on peripheralisation. Tim's future research agenda involves biographical perspectives on social exclusion and residential (im-)mobility.
