This is a first call for submissions to the fifteenth volume of the Annual Review of Education, Communication, and Language Sciences (ARECLS). This is an electronic journal published annually by the School of Education, Communication, and Language Sciences (ECLS) at the University of Newcastle, United Kingdom. The ISSN number is: 1743-159X. ARECLS is a refereed journal and it is now indexed in EBSCO, DOAJ, Index Copernicus, and Open J-Gate.
About the Journal:
The aim of the journal is to publish outstanding research by current and recently graduated research students and academics in the School of Education, Communication, and Language Sciences. This, in turn, aims to help facilitate the transition of contributors, from research students to academics, within the international university system. One of the criteria for examiners of doctoral theses to consider is whether a thesis contains material of publishable quality. It can, therefore, be an advantage for doctoral students to go through the process of publication before submission of their thesis. Students are also welcome to submit articles for publication once they have gained a doctorate.
The journal publishes empirical investigations, scholarly reviews, reports and interviews through the entire range of research conducted in the School of ECLS, in the areas of 'Education', 'Communication', and 'Language Sciences'. The journal is particularly interested in work at the intersection of these three aforementioned disciplines. Submissions to the journal are reviewed by the Editorial Board (email@example.com), consisting of academics and research students, using a critical process of blind peer review.
