For connecting Principles Artist Ben Jeans Houghton and Scientist Dr George Wake will present a work in three parts: The presentation of a psychoactive object, a small work of fiction and a Lecture concerning the ritual use of hallucinogenic plants.
The collaboration will fall under the umbrella of The ARKA Groups activities. The ARKA Group was founded in 2007 by Ben Jeans Houghton and Matthew de Kersaint Giraudeau. It's premise is to make scientific and philosophical ideas tangible to a wider audience, through the creation of works that employ poetic narrative and image, made in collaboration with emphatic individuals from the aforementioned fields of knowledge.
