TraPCAf host successful genetics webinar session
As part of the ongoing virtual training series, TraPCAf recently hosted a virtual training session titled "Genetics Counselling: Return of Results from Genetic Studies in Africa".
This training session was attended by experts Henry Houlden and Dr Sarah Urasa. Henry is a Professor of Neurology at University College London, based in the Queen Square Institute of Neurology. Henry leads a neurogenetics clinic and research laboratory at UCL with research interests in neurological and movement disorders.
Dr Sarah Urasa is a Neurologist & Director of Medical Services at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical College (KCMC), Tanzania. Sarah is a practising Neurologist, lecturer at KCMC, and a Co-Investigator for the TraPCAf project.
The session allowed for discussion and analysis of TraPCAf project results from research conducted across several countries in Africa.
