Sogakope TraPCAf Team Takes to the Streets for Parkinson’s Awareness

On the 9th of April 2025, the TraPCAf Sogakope team marked World Parkinson’s Day with a community walk through the streets of Sogakope, Ghana.
This event was part of a wider effort to raise awareness about Parkinson’s disease and bring conversations about neurological health into public spaces.
Dressed in blue and carrying vibrant placards, the team used clear and impactful messages to engage passersby and spread information about Parkinson’s disease. The placards highlighted key facts, encouraged early diagnosis, and promoted support for those affected.
Through efforts like these, the TraPCAf project continues to lead meaningful change in how Parkinson’s disease is understood and addressed in Africa.
