Mahalo from Honolulu: TraPCAf at the GP2 Annual Investigators Meeting

Last month, the TraPCAf team touched down in Honolulu for the Global Parkinson’s Genetics Programme (GP2) Annual Investigators Meeting — a chance to reconnect with the rest of the team, to meet and collaborate with the wider research community, and to learn more about opportunities, grants, and to spend some time in the beautiful Hawaii!

GP2 is leading one of the most ambitious genetics initiatives in the world, aiming to genotype more than 250,000 volunteers to accelerate our understanding of Parkinson’s disease.

Being in the room with researchers playing a role in this effort allowed for meaningful collaboration — sharing insights, discussing future grants, and mapping out where Parkinson’s research is headed next.
