Celebrating Success: TraPCAf Wins Engagement and Place Award

We are proud to announce that Dr Tash Fothergill-Misbah and the TraPCAf Project have been recognised with the Engaging for Health & Wellbeing award at Newcastle University’s Engagement and Place Awards 2025.

Dr Fothergill-Misbah and the TraPCAf team were honoured for their impactful work raising awareness of Parkinson’s disease in Tanzania, addressing stigma, and improving access to vital medication.

The TraPCAf Project has helped increase understanding of the condition, amplify the voices of people living with Parkinson’s, and advocate for better healthcare access.

Congratulations to Dr Fothergill-Misbah and the entire TraPCAf team on this well-deserved achievement!
