RICHeS: Transforming Access

Transforming Access To Mediterranean Cultural Heritage Science Collections

Researchers have spent decades building up internationally-important collections now hosted in the British International Research Institutes (BIRI). These heritage-science collections include a wide-range of data types and are of international significance for addressing big-picture questions concerning the human past in the Mediterranean and beyond. This project will build digital infrastructure to transform the potential of these resources and to enable them to be managed and explored as Linked-Open-Data to maximise their potential for research and investigation by a wide-range of stakeholders.

This is a collaborative project, funded by UKRI RICHeS, between Newcastle University, the British School at Athens (BSA), the British School at Rome (BSR), and the British Institute at Ankara (BIAA).
