The Thomas Nashe Project team spent an afternoon with Perry Mills (Deputy Head) and boys at King Edward VI School in Stratford-upon-Avon, rehearsing a reading of Thomas Nashe’s Terrors of the Night. All of the students are 12 and 13 years old, and we asked them to read passages from an early edition of the text (old spelling!), chosen by Dr Kate De Rycker. Perry begins the class with something familiar: Shakespeare. Then they turn their attention to Nashe.
Hear how they got on below (5.33).
