We wanted to find out what disabled young people think about their bodies, and what they think about their bodies as they are growing up and changing. This means lots of different things; all of our bodies grow as we go from being children to teenagers, and we wanted to know what that is like for young people with a disability. How does getting older change the way we think about our bodies? This is something we all experience. We also wanted to know how having a disability shapes what people think about the body, how it looks, and what they can do with it.
How is disability important to what people think about the body, in a way that may be different to others?
Finally, we wanted to find out how getting older, and growing and changing, impacts on what disabled young people think about having a disability.
