SynFabFun showcased at EPSRC - Science for a Successful Nation event.

The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) selected the SynFabFun Programme Grant as one of 14 exhibits at the Science for a Successful Nation event that took place on Wednesday 21 February 2018 at The Royal Society, London. The event promoted the importance of EPSRC investments, in the context of UK prosperity. The organisations and projects that participated in the exhibition provided the visual backdrop for the event, providing a snap shot of the EPSRC’s broad portfolio.

The event provided panel discussions, and a Plenary session titled, "How does research and Innovation secure a global Britain?" with speakers including Dr Ruth McKernan, (CEO Innovate UK), Prof Bill Bonfield (Cambridge University), Dr Hayaatun Sillem (CEO RAE), Prof Jim Hall (Oxford University), chaired by Prof Philip Nelson (CEO EPSRC),

SynFabFun provided an exhibit demonstrating, "Membranes for low energy water purification", alongside exhibits, "RM4L - Resilient Materials for Life" and the "UK Climate Impacts Programme (UKCIP)" - helping illustrate the Resilient Nation Prosperity theme of EPSRC's strategy.
