I am a plant ecologist whose research focuses on plant-soil interactions and their consequences for community dynamics and ecosystem functioning. I have a particular interest in utilising knowledge from biodiversity-ecosystem functioning research to inform ecosystem management and improve our understanding of ecosystem responses to global environmental change.
I am also an Associate Editor for the Journal of Applied Ecology and Ecology and Evolution.
