I’m currently a Research Associate in Urban Sustainability at Newcastle University's School of Civil Engineering and Geosciences working on the SUCCESS project (Sustainable Urban Carbon Capture: Engineering Soils for Climate Change) funded by EPSRC. My role within the project is to investigate the issues relating to the sustainable implementation of carbon capture processes in an urban environment, addressing technical, business and regulatory issues. This includes but not limited to transport flows, material flow analysis and lifecycle assessment.
A computer scientist by trade, I am certified by the British Computing Society as a Practitioner of the European Union Code of Conduct for Data Center Energy Efficiency and hold certificates in IT sustainability planning and IT service management.

The SUCCESS project consists of a number of partners and research affiliates which all help contribute to its development. The university partners are supported by an advisory panel drawn from UK central and local government, industry and academia.
