Dr Pattanapong Tiwasing

Dr Pattanapong Tiwasing is a Research Associate in Rural Enterprise with expertise in Quantitative Research Methods (Agricultural and Applied Economics). He is a bilingual academic in Thai and English with considerable experience in Data Analysis using statistical analysis and Econometric Models related to both cross-sectional and panel data. Prior to completing his PhD at Newcastle University He was a lecturer at Chandrakasen Rajabhat University in Bangkok, Thailand, teaching Agricultural Marketing and Agro-Industrial Management, and a researcher at the Thai Health Promotion Foundation linked to the Ministry of Public Health. His research interests are in investigating business performance, aspirations and obstacles of SMEs in rural areas, the impact of new technology adoption on rural economies, innovation and entrepreneurship, spatial disparities in productivity, gender and entrepreneurship, and business investment behaviour including financialisation.
