Session 3: Localising the Industrial Strategy: Rural opportunities

- Drivers of rural business productivity – evidence and reflections. Professor Matthew Gorton, Rural Enterprise UK, Newcastle University.
Tailoring the Industrial Strategy to areas’ and sectors’ strengths and opportunities, led by Edward Corse, BEIS (Head, Stakeholder Engagement Team). Participants will be allocated to one of three discussion groups, focused on aspects of the Industrial Strategy introduced in Sessions 1-3, with groups reporting back before Session 4
