  • Lindsay is a Professor of Childhood Disability at Newcastle University and Honarary Consultant Speech and Language Therapist in an NHS Trust.  She is Chief Investigator and directs the project.

Amanda Allard

  • Amanda Allard is Deputy Director of the Council for Disabled Children.  Amanda is on the core leadership team for the project and is responsible for engagment with young people during the project and dissemination of our findings to families, service providers and policy makers.

Chris Morris

  • C‌hris is a Professor of Child Health Research at the University of Exeter Medical School, he leads PenCRU (Peninsula Childhood Disability Research Unit). For the Reset project Chris is a member of the core leadership team managing all aspects and responsible for directing the Delphi survey.

Jeremy Parr

  • J‌eremy is a Professor of Paediatric Neurodisability at Newcastle University and Honarary Consultant in two NHS Trusts.  He is a member of the leadership team for the study.  He leads the involvement of medical professionals in the study and helps to lead our analysis of information on children's contacts with services pre and during the pandemic.

  • Cath is a Professor of Medical Sociology at Newcastle University.  She is leading the interviews of young people, parent-carers and professionals on the impacts of changes to services during the pandemic.

Dawn Teare

 

  • Dawn is a Professor of Biostatistics at Newcastle University.  She is responsible for our work on analysing the change in children's contacts with health services before and during the pandemic and the impacts of these changes on children's health and wellbeing.

Fiona Pearson 

  • Fiona is  Research Associate at Newcastle University.  She leads the review of evidence on the impact of changes to services to disabled children during the pandemic.

Ge Yu

 

  • Ge is a Senior Reseach Associate in the North East Health Economics Group, Newcastle University.  His research involves data collected by the NHS and in the project his is analysing children's contacts with services before and during the pandemic.

Hannah Merrick

  • Hannah is a Research Associate at Newcastle University who has worked on a range of research projects focussing on the experiences of healthcare and informal support for young people with complex health needs and their families.  Hannah is working on all phases of the project.

Kulwinder Bola

  • Kulwinder works in the commissioning of children's services for a local authority in the East of England and is a chair of ParentCarer Forum. Kulwinder leads the engagement with parent-carers across the project.

  • Laura is an educational psychologist at South Tyneside. Laura is involved in all phases of the study and is leading our engagement with education services.

  • Philip is a Senior Lecturer at Northumbria University and a qualified social worker.  He ensures that social workers are involved in the project and that we disseminate findings to local authorities.
