I am a Research Project Manager with over ten years experience managing cross-disciplinary projects within Newcastle University. I have managed European Training Networks, clinical trials and centres for research, including Newcastle Cancer Centre. My interpersonal skills along with my desire to be organised and coherent help me in my role. I hope I bring some calm to some of the storms I have seen within projects! I studied Psychology and Business Administration at University and have a keen interest in organisational psychology and learning about people. 

I consider myself a caring person and have a desire to bring about some level of change within the research culture at Newcastle to improve the experience of all those working alongside me. 

Outside of work I enjoy being outdoors, I like running a few times a week and scenic walks when time allows. I completed my first coastal marathon walk in 2024. I have a young family who take up much of my free time during weekends, we enjoy beach and park trips and lots of babycinos with extra marshmallows!
