Dawn Roxburgh

I am an Organisational Development Lead with a passion for building inclusive workplace environments and teams, recognising the importance and benefits this brings to people and their workplace.  

I bring years of experience and perspectives from the disciplines of Operations, Leadership, Change Management, Organisational Design, Organisational Behaviour, Project Management and Process Improvements, having worked in a large organisational outside of higher education.  

 My role is working in partnership with our Research community as a project lead, specialising in Leadership Development, to develop a contextualised, sustainable and scalable Leadership Development intervention that builds leadership practices and behaviours promoting psychological safety. 

 I bring experience of delivering organisational strategic and tactical change across multiple cross functional areas outside of higher education. My experience of working within different organisational structures and leadership styles enables me to draw on these and contribute to the project.  

As a practitioner, I bring years of leadership and facilitation experience.  As an individual I bring strong problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail and enthusiasm for change.  My added project governance and management experience enables me to deeper understand the structure and levers that help ensure that we meet project goals. I am a strong team player and enjoy working and collaborating with diverse groups to better understand impacts and find the best solutions.   

I love being outdoors and spending time with my family.  I love running as it gets me outside, keeps me fit and enables me to spend time with friends.  I volunteer regularly at Junior Parkrun and just love what this has brought to the community for families in our local areas.
