Upcoming Workshops: Inclusive and Psychologically Safer Research Environments

The leadership strand of our project has partnered with the The Research Space to offer an opportunity for you to connect with colleagues, reflect on your leadership practice and help to create safer and more inclusive research environments.

The sessions in June will focus on practices for co-creating inclusive and psychologically safer research environments.

In Person: Wednesday 17th June - Workshop 13:00-14:30
(Free networking lunch from 12:30).

Why Participate?
Across the sessions, we hope to create a thoughtful and generative space where you can:

• Reflect on your own experience of leadership in research.
• Explore ideas and practices emerging from the project that could help you create more inclusive and psychologically safe environments.
• Inform what a community of practice around leadership practice could look like and how it could most help you.
• Connect with colleagues who are also interested in more inclusive and collegial ways of working and leading.
  

Who Can Participate?
Everyone is welcome to attend regardless of role or area of work in the University. You don’t need to be in a leadership position to come along and benefit – anyone can join: being curious and wanting to get involved is enough! It's not a requirement that you have participated at the session in May either!

Accessibility:
We are committed to accessibility and will provide a full briefing in advance of each session. We can already confirm that we will: have regular breaks in the sessions, cater to any confirmed dietary requirements (in person only), and provide detailed instructions with photos of the venue (in person only).
