Funding & Collaborators

The RATULS trial is a collaborative project funded by a National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) Health Technology Assessment grant (project number 11/26/05). The study is being carried out at four central sites across the UK, in North Tyneside, Glasgow, Romford and North West London, with support from UK based suppliers.

Funding

The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) is funded by the Department of Health. Since its establishment in April 2006, this public body has transformed research in the NHS. It has increased the volume of applied health research for the benefit of patients and the public, driven faster translation of basic science discoveries into tangible benefits for patients and the economy, and developed and supported the people who conduct and contribute to applied health research.
