Yemi Oluboyede

I am a health economist with an interest in economic evaluations of new health technologies and the creation of preference based measures.

My current research work involves measuring and valueing health outcomes for disease specific instruments that are to be used in economic evaluations of new health technologies.

During my National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Leeds, I worked on developing a preference based quality of life measure for use in economic evaluation of weight management programmes for overweight and obese adolescents.

My research interests include:

  • Economic evaluation alongside randomised controlled trials
  • Measurement and valuation of health and well-being
  • Incorporating well-being into outcome measurement in economic evaluation
  • Development of disease specific preference based instruments
  • Investigating the determinants of health and well-being
