Elly Stolk

Elly A. Stolk, PhD, is the Scientific Team Leader at the EuroQol Research Foundation.

Elly has more than 18 years of experience in the field of health preference research. In 1998, she started her academic career at the department of Health Policy and Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Her research focused on measurement of individual and social preferences for health related quality of life and broader outcomes of care. She is skilled in capturing these preferences using methods like time trade-off (TTO) and discrete choice experiments (DCE) (in- and outside healthcare), and has over 70 publications in this area.

The qualifications Elly has gained during her academic career are still relevant now as she moved to the EuroQoL Research Foundation to take up the position of Scientific Team Leader. In this role, she is responsible for coordinating the research program conducted by EuroQoL and for carrying out delegated management tasks, while continueing to be involved in a broad range of research projects.
