Ester Bellavia

Ester Bellavia is a PhD candidate at Newcastle University based in Population & Health Sciences. The research study she is conducting in collaboration with her supervisory team aims to explore the role of patient and public involvement in dementia research and explain how best to involve people living with dementia and family carers in research. Ester has a Bachelor Degree in Nursing from the University of Catania in Italy and a MA in Research Methods from the University of Nottingham. To date, she has been a practising nurse within the NHS for four years.

Ester succesfully passed her PhD in September 2022.
