Watch the first stakeholder engagement workshop where you can hear from speakers about access to PrEP. The Workshop is open to anyone who wishes to contribute to respectful discussion, share their experiences and engage with our work.

Steven Brine MP

Steven is a Member of Parliament for Winchester and Chandler's Ford and a Co-Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for HIV

Chi Onwurah MP

Chi is the Member of Parliament for Newcastle Central and Shadow Minister for Research, Science and Innovation. 

Postive Voices, Terrence Higgins Trust 

Speakers from Postive Voices project will share their expereinces of living with HIV, medications invovled and what PrEP could mean for these communities. 

Dr Alice McCloskey and Mr Allan Hogg

Alice and Allan are both community pharmacists and will share their perspectives of current practice in community pharmacy in Great Britain and Northern Ireland and how this could contribute to broadening access to PrEP. 

Heather Leake Date, University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust

Heather is Consultant Pharmacist in HIV and Sexual Health in one of the UK's largest HIV centres which was also a site for several PrEP clinical trials (PROUD, IMPACT and DISCOVER). She was involved in the national rollout of commissioned PrEP in her role as Co-Chair of the Drugs Subgroup of the NHS England HIV Clinical Reference Group.Barrie Dwyer, Terrence Higgins TrustBarrie will share experiences of research with community pharmcists to explore pathways for people to access PrEP.  

Allé, Trans and Queer Educator

Allé will share experiences of PrEP use and how this informs ideas, beliefs, and undertanding within the Transgender and Queer communities. To find out more about Allé's work visit Instagram @transyogateacher his website transyogateacher.com.

Susan Egbert, University of Manitoba

Susan is an American Pharmacist and will share informaiton about PrEP use in the United States of America, exporing access to PrEP and cost. 

Dr Kyle Wilby, Dal Housie University

Kyle is an academic researching access to PrEP in Nova Scotia, Canada. Kyle's work has successfully changed regulations in Canada to enable communty pharmacists to supply PrEP as part of an implementation study trial.
