Organized by Claire Irving, Tom Langley, and Janelle Rodriques. This inter-disciplinary seminar aims to build on the success of last year’s post-graduate symposium in postcolonial studies. The seminar will be an informal one-day event for research students across the North East, at any stage and from any discipline, which will provide a forum for exploring the interdisciplinary nature of postcolonial studies. The aim of “Postcolonialism Undisciplined” is to give early stage and new research students an opportunity to discuss their work and make contact with other researchers working in Postcolonial Studies across the region. Our discussions will highlight productive links between the diverse research being conducted across academic disciplines and institutions.
