Chemistry Laboratory
Our recently refurbished and expanded Chemistry laboratory contains 2 large fume hoods, a muffle furnace and a high quality water system.
Equipment used in chemical analysis of soils, sediments and waters includes portable HACH-Lange and UV-vis spectrophotometers, titration equipment and standard water chemistry meters (e.g. dissolved oxygen, ultra-meters) to cater for a range of analyses. This laboratory can accommodate small student groups.
A separate room opposite the Chemistry Laboratory houses balances and fridges for sample storage.
