Year 7 pupils at Churchill Community College developed their Spanish language and cultural knowledge with the help of a Digital Mentor based at the Language Resource Centre at Newcastle University.

Students from Norham High School took part in a design challenge incorporating Architecture and Maths - could they design a goatshed for Ouseburn Farm using their mathematical knowledge of transformations, 3D shapes and statistical diagrams?

Academics in Town Planning at Newcastle University have developed a project promoting awareness of healthy eating and how takeaway food restaurants impact on our local high street. A school in Leeds, Prince Henry of Otley, plans to trial the project in September 2020.
From Cholera to Comic
The From Cholera to Comic project was a joint project undertaken by Berwick Records Office, Berwick Museum and Berwick High School, along with Newcastle University. Year 9 students learnt about the cholera epidemic in their local area and developed comics which were displayed to the public.
