The Education Outreach team at Special Collections and Archives is led by Gillian Johnston and Sara Bird.  They have worked on PBL projects for several years, with topics including women's suffrage, the local impact of the First World War and Fairy Tales.  Pupils are able to visit the reserved areas of the library, handle artefacts and connect their classroom learning to hands-on historical research.
