PHD of Dr Hannah James Louwerse
The AHRC-funded PhD study conducted by Dr Hannah James Louwerse was entitled 'Oral History’s Design: A creative collaboration. Maintaining and reusing oral history recordings of cultural heritage sites: The National Trust’s Seaton Delaval Hall case study’. It was a Northern Bridge CDA-funded PhD, in partnership with the National Trust at Seaton Delaval Hall. Hannah also completed placements at the British Library in the National Life Story Collection, and in the Archives of the National Centre for Biological Sciences in Bangalore.
Hannah’s emerging theory of wicked maintenance contributes to the fields of Public History, Oral History, Design and the Heritage Sector.
