• Graham is an internationally respected oral historian. He has worked in Vietnam, India China, Pakistan and the UK, in community and academic oral history.

Graham's wide-ranging career has covered labour, family, environment, migration and medical humanities, always with a focus on work that is public and community-facing. From 2004-2017 he was chair of the Oral History Society, and in 2017 he moved to Newcastle to help establish the new Oral History Unit and Collective.
