Research Summer School 2023
In August 2023 we hosted a 1-day interactive Research Summer School - to help our potential applicants find out more about PhD opportunities within the Natural & Environmental Sciences.
We hope to provide more event like this next year so please keep visiting us to find out more.
An overview of our event in August 2023:
This event is free, and meals, travel & accommodation funds costs will be covered. These funds will be provided once your place has been confirmed.
Places will be prioritised for UK Black, Asian and minority ethnic students - with the aim to widen participation in research, improve access to transferable skills training, and increase awareness of research careers in the Natural and Environmental Sciences.
What will the day include?
The day will be hosted by the ONE Planet DTP, and will include talks from our academic Directors, and current Postgraduate Researchers. We will also provide tours of our research facilities and group activities. Find out: ‘What is a PhD’? What does our research programme include? What does a Studentship funding award provide?
