Marcus Coates lives and works in London. His work attempts to understand how we relate to each other and the implications of this for the world around us. Marcus works with others to create processes founded on empathy and trust, collaborating with members of the public, organisations and institutions, as well as experts from a wide range of disciplines. Mark Fairnington is a painter based in London. His paintings are known for their intense realism and observed detail.  They vary tremendously in scale from large scale paintings of mounted insects, taxidermy displays of birds, flowers, portraits of prize stud bulls to a series of miniature eye paintings. Mark’s most recent solo exhibitions are 'Here’s Looking at You', Robert Upstone Gallery (2023) 'The Landscape Room', Handel Street Projects, London (2020), 'Relics, Containing the figures of Saints, Martyrs, Sinners, Birds of Paradise, Beasts and Plants', Ushaw Museum, Durham (2020). Group shows include 'Landscape of the Gods', Cross Lane Projects in Kendal, Lake District (2023) and 'Arcadia for all? Rethinking Landscape Painting Now', The Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery, University of Leeds (2023). Hanna Tuulikki is a British-Finnish artist based in Scotland. Her multi-disciplinary projects investigate the ways in which the body communicates beyond and before words, to tell stories through imitation, vocalisation, and gesture. Hanna’s innovative practice spans live performance, moving image and multi-channel audio-visual installation. Her work has been commissioned and presented in the UK, Europe, USA, Australia, India, and the Middle East, including most recently at: the Institute of Modern Art, Brisbane (2023); National Galleries of Scotland (2021-23); ‘In Between Festival’, B018, Beirut, Lebanon (2022); ‘British Art Show 9’ (2021-22); ‘Acoustic Commons’, Aix-Marseille (2022);  Hospitalfield, Arbroath (2022); Biennale of Sydney (2022); the Helsinki Biennial (2021); Tramway, Glasgow (2021); the VOV with National Galleries of Scotland (2021); and the Edinburgh Art Festival (2020). Ruth Ewan is an artist based in Glasgow. Her work addresses ideas of power and questions representations of time, rebellion, and repression. Her work grows from context-specific research resulting in a wide variety of forms. Often working collaboratively Ruth has created music projects, walks, radio programmes, design projects, workshops and books. She has shown extensively within galleries and museums including most recently at; The Laing Gallery (2022); Collective (2022 & 2014); The Cooper Gallery (2021); Edinburgh Art Festival (2018 & 2020); Pitzhanger Gallery (2020); Yorkshire Sculpture Park (2019); CAPC, Bordeux (2019); Musée national de l’histoire de l’immigration, Paris (2019). Ruth has also realised projects for The High Line, New York (2019); Glasgow Women’s Library (2018); Artangel (2013); Create, London (2012); Folkestone Triennial (2011); Art on the Underground (2011).
