This programme is funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) under its (16/122 Community groups and health promotion) https://www.journalslibrary.nihr.ac.uk/programmes/phr/1612233/#/

Link worker social prescribing is an intervention that enables health care professionals to harness the expertise of non-medical services such as those in the voluntary sector.

In this evaluation we aim to find out about social prescribing by assessing:
•The effect of social prescribing on health and quality of life
•Whether social prescribing provides value for money
•How people interact with social prescribing and the wider impacts of the service on them and their families
