I can’t remember. I think both of them did. And I sort of remember … I particularly remember my dad breaking ... He used to say big words were like beads on a necklace. Like, say, on your letterhead here: ‘Newcastle University’: if you break it down into ‘new’, and then ‘cast’ and string it together ...
Yes.
That’s a very vivid memory for me, about big words being like beads on a necklace, and string them all together.
