Interviews

These interviews took place in November and December 2014 at the Gateshead Central Library, the Newcastle City Library and the Lit & Phil. We approached the interviews with key themes in mind and were grateful for new ones suggested by interviewees. The testimonies describe a wide range of experiences, including memories of childhood visits to libraries, learning to read, ageing, physical books vs. e-readers, shared reading, and reading and wellbeing.
