"A wide sea voyage severs us at once": Improving connections between Guides and Visitors at UAFP
This workshop is a free training opportunity for all staff at the Ulster American Folk Park. Professor Karen Corrigan and her research team from Newcastle University will tell you about their new project, which looks at the impact on language of Northern Ireland's population (comparing the experiences of recent immigrants with Irish emigrants). The event will explore various ways in which the results of this research can help you in your work with visitors to UAFP.
Attendance is free. The workshop starts with lunch at 1.30pm and ends at 4.30pm.
