This event celebrates Community Relations and Cultural Awareness week 2015 “One Place, Many People” and is being run in conjunction with the “From Home to Here” exhibition at the Linen Hall, which takes place between October 1st and 31st. It will be a ‘civic conversation’ between an expert panel and members of the public who will have opportunities to engage in the debate. The panel consists of specialists in asylum, language and migration issues relevant to the island of Ireland as well as representatives from migrant groups and key institutions that support them such as educators as well as Barnardo’s; Movement of Asylum Seekers in Ireland; Northern Ireland Community of Refugees and Asylum Seekers; Northern Ireland Council for Ethnic Minorities and the Ulster Centre on Multilingualism.
