Hugh is the CAD leader this year meaning he is reponsible for leading the development of CAD models for the locomotive,  he also is setting out a CAD file numbering system and ensuring this is followed. Hugh is the engineer working on the high voltage systems, this includes the motors and batteries. He is working to purchase new Lithium-Ion batteries for the locomotive to replace the current lead acid batteries. He is also responsible for the motors and motor braking which is used in the regenerative braking energy storage challenge.
