Fungi regulate their growth and morphology in response to nutrientavailability.  We are interested in a group of nutrient transporters that act as nutrient sensors to control fungal morphology.  We are particularly nterested in the potential link between nutrient sensing and the morphological changes that certain fungal pathogens undergo during hostin fection.  We use as model organisms Saccharomyces cerevisiae, the human pathogen Cryptococcus neoformans and the wheat pathogen Zymoseptoria tritici
