MRC DiMeN funded PhD Position in the Veal Lab
Investigating how Ageing and Anti-fungal Resistance Affects Host-Pathogen Interactions.
A PhD studentship funded by the MRC DiMeN Doctoral Training Partnership to start in September 2025 is available in Dr Elizabeth Veal's lab. The successful student will be based in Newcastle University Medical School where you will work alongside other PhD students and postdoctoral researchers investigating how to target fungal pathogens and determining how stress responses that protect against ageing and disease are regulated in C. elegans and model yeast. Full details are available here.
